Entering the Satwiwa area in Newbury Park, these pics were taken after the fires. Fortunately, this particular area was less damaged. Never the less, the hike was definitely worthwhile. With destruction comes rebirth! A new beginning! New growth brings new opportunity!
A trip to June Lake area with friends presented an opportunity to yet another new adventure and journey of my life. As we drove up to our destination, the tranquility of June Lake was a beautiful sight. A hiking trip to Baker Lake with running streams, various kinds of vegetation, birds, bugs, and unusual shaped fallen trees, provided a challenging and exhilarating exercise, while bringing joy to our hearts. Our serene trek took us to our Baker Lake destination with breathtaking colors and incredible vistas. It was but another magical journey of enchantment. In a labor of Love, I'm now using my new Outdoor Healing Sanctuary Space. For those interested, and when the weather is right, it's a real treat to be outdoors. As the story goes, I was working on creating this space when my hubby attracted a frame on his moving job and brought it home. Voilà! It was oh so perfect a size for this space under the patio roof. I could hang my bamboo shades on it for privacy, my curtain doorway and my bamboo picture. I added a park bench, a redwood partition, and some interestingly creative stuff to the wall shelves in the background. I now have a beautifully tranquil healing space awaiting. |
